Applied Behavior ANalysis (ABA)
ABA is a data driven one on one therapy, based on the science of how changes in the environment affect behavior. We focus on social, communicative, daily living, and self-regulation skills. Our goal is to give your child and family the tools you need to see success in the next steps of your lives!
Intake Process
-
✺
1.It all begins with a conversation. Schedule a tour to see our facilities and meet with our professionals. The Clinical Director can be available to help answer any questions that you may have.
-
✺
2.Verification of benefits occurs to ensure that we are in network with your family’s mental health insurance plan.
-
✺
3.The intake evaluation is requested and completed. This consists of a direct observation of your child, a parent interview, and an online questionnaire. (Your child MUST have an Autism diagnosis from a neurologist, child psychologist, or a developmental child pediatrician.)
-
✺
4. Results of the evaluations and interviews are collected and used to create a plan of care. This plan is reviewed with caregivers and then a treatment request is sent to insurance for approval.
-
✺
5. Upon approval, schedules for treatment are arranged, staff is prepped, and payment arrangements are set.
-
✺
6. Lastly, your child starts their first day on a new journey. WELCOME HOME!
What’s inside?
collaborative approach
ABA being apart of Amenity House allows all professionals serving your child to be apart of their care, in all disciplines. We require all disciplines to meet and discuss goals and process, at least once a month.
Individualized plans
All programs implemented are unique to your child. Each child learns and reacts differently, so it is our job to observe and adjust as best fit for you and your family.
Ongoing Supervision
To ensure that your child is getting the most productive therapy, we provide ongoing supervision. This consists for review of data, supervision and ongoing training for all therapist working with your child, and adjustments to treatment methods, as needed.
Parent Training
We invite parents and all caregivers into the clinic to receive parent training. This is a meeting scheduled once or twice a month to discuss progress and train on methods to carry over at home and in the community.

Hi, My name is Jennifer. I've been in the ABA field for six years, starting as BT. After becoming an RBT, I fell in love with it and chose to pursue a career as a BCBA so that I could not only work in the industry but also make a difference. In 2022, I completed my master's degree in special education at Sam Houston State University. I enjoy working with children and families to help them make simple changes that have a significant impact on their lives.

HI! I’m Carolyn Rivera, One of the BCBA’s here at Amenity Health Services. I am a California native and have been a Houstonian for almost 5 years. I’m a proud graduate of Florida Institute of Technology with a Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis, and I have worked with children with special needs and autism professionally since 2016. I find great joy in collaborating with others and providing compassionate care by helping children and their families reach their goals.

My name is Brittany Morris, but I prefer Bree. This September marks the sixth year of my career in ABA. I received my master's degree in behavior analysis from Simmons University in Boston, and this is my first year as a BCBA. I've learned a lot because every day is a new challenge, but it's been a joy to watch my great children grow and learn. I felt at home in the field from the minute I started working there. Nothing compares to being able to help and encourage these amazing children and families to achieve their best selves.
